WHAT WE COLLECT

When you shop on this site:

• Name, email, phone, and delivery address (to fulfil your order)
• Payment is processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your card details

When you register to vote at a Fastlane Melbourne meet via the QR code:

• Your name and email (required — used to verify one vote per person)
• Phone number and Instagram handle (optional)
• Your IP address and browser user-agent (logged for fraud audit only)
• Your consent choices (required privacy consent + optional marketing consent)

WHY WE COLLECT IT

• Shop orders — to process payment, ship product, and send order updates
• Meet voting — to make sure each attendee votes once per category and to prevent vote stacking
• Marketing (only with your consent) — occasional updates about upcoming Fastlane meets and use of your photo/likeness from the event in our @fastlane_melbourne social posts

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the site:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — secure database hosting (data stored in Sydney, Australia)
• Vercel — website hosting
• Australia Post / courier — to deliver your order

Photos from meets are only posted publicly on @fastlane_melbourne social channels if you tick the optional marketing consent.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

• Order records: 7 years (required by Australian tax law)
• Meet attendee + vote records: 24 months by default — earlier on request
• Marketing subscribers: until you opt out

YOUR RIGHTS

Under the Australian Privacy Act you can:

• Ask what data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct it
• Ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements above)
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au

EVENT PARTICIPATION & AWARDS

Fastlane Melbourne meets are physical, in-person events. The following terms apply to any People's Choice or category award at a meet:

• The registered vehicle must be physically present at the advertised event location for the entire scheduled voting window to be eligible for any award.
• Entries submitted through the car-registration QR code without the vehicle attending the event may, at the sole and absolute discretion of the organisers, have any winning result withheld, denied, or re-awarded to the next highest-voted eligible entry.
• The organisers reserve the right to remove an entry from voting, disregard votes for an entry, or disqualify an entry after the fact if they reasonably suspect the entry was made without the vehicle attending.
• All decisions on attendance verification, eligibility, vote validity, and award outcomes rest entirely with Fastlane Melbourne and are final. No correspondence will be entered into in relation to disqualified entries.
• Awards have no cash value and are issued at the discretion of the organisers. Awards may be re-issued or revoked if eligibility issues are identified after the fact.

By registering or voting at a meet you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

FASTLANE MELBOURNE MOBILE APP

The Fastlane Melbourne app (iOS and Android) is our members' club companion. When you use the app we collect:

• Account details — your name, username, email address and password (stored securely with Supabase Auth) when you create a free member account
• Content you post — chat messages, marketplace listings, and event RSVPs, shown to other members inside the app
• Points activity — QR codes you scan at meets, points earned, and rewards redeemed, used to run the club points program and leaderboard

Device permissions the app may request:

• Camera — used only to scan event QR codes for points. No photos or video are captured or stored.
• Photo library — used only when you choose to attach an image to a post. We access only the images you select.

App data is hosted with Supabase in Sydney, Australia, and is never sold or used for advertising. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app via Profile → Delete Account, or by emailing us at Fastlanemelbourne@gmail.com.

COOKIES

We use small functional cookies only:

• Cart contents and theme preference (saved in your browser only)
• A short-lived attendee cookie at meets, to bind your device to your vote

No third-party advertising trackers.
